This page explains, in plain language, how RiverPoint Acquisitions, LLC ("RiverPoint," "we," "us," or "our") operates as a real estate wholesaler, so you know exactly what to expect if you choose to work with us.
RiverPoint Acquisitions is a real estate investor and wholesaler. We are not a licensed real estate broker, agent, or salesperson. We do not list properties on the open market (such as the MLS) and do not represent buyers or sellers in a fiduciary capacity the way a licensed agent would.
When you accept an offer from us, we typically enter into a purchase agreement with you for your property. In many cases, rather than personally purchasing and closing on the property ourselves, we may assign that purchase agreement to a third-party buyer for a fee. This is a standard, legal real estate practice known as wholesaling.
While we work to close every deal we put under contract, assigning a contract to a third party means the ultimate closing depends on that buyer performing under the agreement. We will communicate with you throughout the process and keep you informed.
You have the right to cancel any purchase agreement with us within two (2) business days of signing it, for any reason, without penalty.
Every transaction we're party to closes through a licensed title company or closing attorney, ensuring your sale is documented and handled properly, and that you receive your proceeds through a secure, regulated closing process.
We encourage you to review any purchase agreement with an attorney, real estate professional, or financial advisor of your choosing before signing. We're happy to provide a copy of our standard purchase agreement in advance for that purpose.
